| Abstract Scope |
The requirements for structural applications are increasing permanent, esp. under the aspect of weight reduction for saving energy in highly loaded structural applications. By using particle modified polymers there are different strategies to improve functionality. In the packaging industry monofilms, based on modified biopolymers will offer new possibilities for circular economy. Nanoparticle reinforced thermoset polymers will improve the characteristics of fiber reinforced polymers.
The presentation will discuss different ways to use material combinations for advanced applications. |
