Abstract Scope |
The structural evolution and dielectric properties of BaTiO3 are analyzed in a simple and double-doping mechanism with rare-earth elements Gd and Eu in solid ceramic solutions Ba1-3XGd2XTi1-3XEu4XO3. They were sintered for 7hrs using the solid-state reaction method at 1300°C. The characterization was by x-ray diffraction(XRD) and Rietveld refinement to analyze the structural evolution of the microstructure. Tetragonal BaTiO3 was determined, and the value of the tetragonality ratio(c/a) increases as the concentration increases. On the other hand, the volume of the crystalline structure decreases with the increase in the dopant. Relative capacitance and permittivity values increase significantly in a simple replacement compared to the undoped composition and with a double-doped composition. However, the energy loss due to dissipation decreases significantly compared to compositions without doping and with simple doping. Finally, the charge compensation mechanism is analyzed with dielectric properties, the physical results are analyzed about the theoretical and real density. |
