Symposium Recent Developments in High Strength Steels for Energy Applications
Sponsorship
Organizer(s) Dengqi Bai, SSAB North America
Matthew Merwin, U.S. Steel
Scope This symposium focuses on the recent developments of steels for energy sectors which includes conventional oil/natural gas, shale gas, and wind energy. Steels involved in the production and transmission of energy in these industries is of interest. Specifically, papers related to development of new steel grades and processes, microstructure characterization, and field performance are desired. Papers from steel producers, manufacturers, and end users are welcomed.
