| Scope |
The purpose of the symposium, second in series, is to provide a forum for presenting the latest advances from academia, industry and research laboratories on topics related to predicting, determining, establishing and rationalizing the underlying mechanisms governing the multidisciplinary aspects of fatigue behavior of materials. Submissions on interdisciplinary research approaches designed to link the solid mechanics and materials aspects of the fatigue problem, spanning the spectrum of metals, intermetallics, ceramics and their composites, as well as those using principles of materials science and engineering, mechanics of solids, new testing methods, and stochastic modeling are strongly encouraged. |
